Our company at the EU Industry Day

On February 21, 2018, Spheros-Electron participated in the European Regional Industry Forum in Kyiv, which was co-organized by the Reforms Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The forum is part of the EU Industry Day, held by the European Commission for the second time, and aimed at discussing current challenges, opportunities, and trends in developing European industrial policy. Regional events within the framework of the EU Industry Day bring together key stakeholders from the industrial and financial sectors, science, innovation, representatives of the governments of the EU countries, and partner countries, among which Ukraine is the key.

The report was devoted to the automotive industry and mechanical engineering in the system of building European value chains.

The participants of the session discussed the potential of Ukrainian automotive and machine-building enterprises within the framework of integration into European and global value chains, the experience of creating R&D departments in representative offices of foreign companies engaged in the manufacture of automotive components, the main regulatory problems in Ukraine, the strategy for the development of electric vehicles in Ukraine, the harmonization of technical regulations and standards between Ukraine and the EU in the perspective of signing the Agreement on Conformity Assessment and eligibility of industrial goods between Ukraine and the EU.
